Mechanic Exam Prep ("the App") is operated by Jeffrey Cleland ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it on your iOS device.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This app was designed to function without collecting personal data.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Mechanic Exam Prep does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your location or GPS data
• Your device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Your exam results or quiz answers
• Photos, contacts, or any other device data

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Purchase status — whether you have unlocked full access (stored in your device's local storage)
• Language preference — English or French setting

This data stays on your device. We cannot access it and it is not backed up to any server we control.

4. In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Full Access") processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not process payments directly and do not receive or store your payment information.

Purchase verification is handled by RevenueCat, our payment infrastructure partner. RevenueCat may process anonymous purchase receipt data to verify your entitlement. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party service:

• RevenueCat — for in-app purchase verification. RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase receipt data from Apple to verify your subscription status. No personally identifiable information is shared.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics platforms, social media SDKs, or any other third-party data collection services.

6. Children's Privacy

Mechanic Exam Prep is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal information from any users, no special handling is required.

7. Data Security

Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data at risk on our end. All data stored on your device is subject to your device's built-in security features (Face ID, Touch ID, device encryption).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
